MichaelWhelan.com Michael Whelan has had a web site for over 10 years. We were chosen to recreate it from the ground up. Working closely with Michael and his staff, we created a general information area (FAQs, news, bio), galleries of his work (in various Flash-based slide shows), an eCommerce shop, and a collection of his illustration and personal works. A new members-only area will also be added soon. Challenges: The eCommerce engine we used was osCommerce and it was especially challenging to take a fully written commerce engine and revamp it to fit tightly into the new look and feel of this web site. In addition, the nature of the offerings on the site required numerous customizations in the code. |
